Camelina Turkey Patties

Ingredients & Quantities:
Caramelized onions
- 4 medium red onions, thinly julienned
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) Signé Caméline Shoyu sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Caméline honey
Turkey patties
- 850 g ground turkey
- 4 green onions, finely chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh cilantro, chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) Fitcook Foodz Grilling spices
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) cornstarch
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) Signé Caméline toasted camelina seeds
- 375 g halloumi cheese, cut into 10 thick slices
Toppings
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) Signé Caméline toasted camelina seeds
- 125 ml (½ cup) microgreens
Instructions:
- Spray a pan or griddle with butter-flavored camelina oil, then add the red onions. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Add the Shoyu sauce and Caméline honey to the onions, then mix well to caramelize the onions. Set aside.
- Preheat the BBQ to 400°F.
- Place the ground turkey, green onions, cilantro, Fitcook Foodz Grilling spices, toasted camelina seeds, and cornstarch in a bowl, then mix well until homogeneous.
- Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions using wet hands, then flatten to form patties.
- Add a slice of halloumi cheese to the center of each patty.
- Close the patties using wet hands to lightly coat the cheese.
- Spray the BBQ grill with butter-flavored camelina oil.
- Grill the patties for 4 minutes on each side.
- Serve with caramelized onions, toasted camelina seeds, and microgreens.
